Willie Mason caught urinating in public

Willie Mason has committed his first off-field offence with new club Sydney Roosters.

Mason and Anthony Tupou will undertake community work after an unsavoury incident during the Roosters trip to the NSW mid-north coast last Saturday night. The pair were caught uriniating in public, with police slapping an infringement notice on the duo.

“Both the club and the players are disappointed that their actions have generated poor publicity following the good work carried out over 3 days with the community,” a Roosters media release stated.

“Both players are remorseful regarding this embarrassing situation and regret their actions.

“Due to the nature of the offence the club will require both players to carry out a program of community work with the PCYC.

“The matter has now been resolved and the club will not be making any further comment.”
