Willie Mason breach notice

The Bulldogs have handed Willie Mason a breach notice, noting ‘possible contract breaches’.

Given Mason’s desire to leave the Bulldogs, the breach notice is almost a posthumous gesture, with the club set to cancel Mason’s contract once he agrees to terms with another club, expected to be the Sydney Roosters.

Mason will have an opportunity to front the Bulldogs board on Tuesday November 20, with a ‘resolution’ date set for Friday November 23, however it’s likely he would have severed ties with the Belmore club by then.
