Why aren’t South’s chasing Kimmorley

Brett Kimmorley is leaving Cronulla. South’s, with respect to Joe Williams, need a halfback. Kimmorley has kids in school and is building a house. He doesn’t really want to leave Sydney. South’s need a halfback.

Yes, that’s been mentioned twice, but they really need a halfback.

Brett KimmorleyEverything that has been wrong about the Rabbitohs in the last two months could have been avoided with a Kimmorley type player. Remember the last minute loss to the Warriors? A man of Kimmorley’s experience would likely have closed the game down before the visitors had a sniff. Each week has seen a decline in the Bunnies attack. When they are in the opposition 20, they have settled back into that mediocrity where a try is coincidental. There is no direction.

The Dragons were keen, The Tigers still are. Where’s South’s? They have money. Certainly enough to sign one more marquee man. He is 30, but age has never stopped Souths in the past. Jeremy Smith’s running game would complement Kimmorley beautifully. Everything about The Bunnies would improve.

It makes too much sense.
