V8s: Tander slips up as Whincup pounces

Holden’s Garth Tander has missed a golden opportunity to further cement his position at the top of the V8 Supercar championship, slipping to 10th in the second race of Symmons Plains weekend in Launceston.

Jamie Whincup led a Ford trifecta, although Craig Lowndes could only manage 6th.
