Wallabies trounce Fiji

The Wallabies avoided the type of embarrassment experience two weeks prior against Wales, beating Fiji 49-0 in a clinical display in Perth.

Lote Tuqiri and Scott Staniforth scored two tries each as the Wallabies pounced on an under strength opposition, in a dress rehearsal for bigger assignments, notably next weeks Tri Nations opener in Cape Town.

George Gregan and Steven Larkham were not at their peak, with the fly half replaced by Sam Norton-Knight in the 55 minute.

The impeccible defence has now held out its opposition to zero on consecutive occasions.
