Strong squads for Charity Shield

South Sydney and St.George Illawarra will play sides that will resemble their best outfits in Saturday’s Charity Shield at ANZ Stadium.

Ben Rogers will play alongside Craig Wing in the Rabbitohs halves, while Roy Asotasi will line up in the front row. David Kidwell has been named in Souths’ second row, while Dean Widders will start from the bench.

The Dragons halves will also be of interest, with Rangi Chase and Jamie Soward to combine. Former Origin fullback Ben Hornby will start from the bench, while Mark Gasnier returns to the scene of his horrific injury last year, which ruined his season.
