> Hear Sonny Bill after his hearing

Sonny Bill Williams will be available for the Bulldogs after this weeks final against North Queensland, after successfully having a striking charge downgraded from grade two to grade one.

The Bulldogs risked losing their star forward for three matches by fighting the grading, when a two match ban was on offer for an early guilty plea.

Williams was originally charged with a grade two striking offence, when he hit Cowboys half Johnathan Thurston with a high tackle, appearing to strike Thurston on the jaw.

Souths forward David Fa’alogo will now have his case against a grade four striking charge heard.
