Sea Eagles embarrass Roosters

Manly has scored a rare hiding, demolishing the Sydney Roosters 56-0 in a horribly lopsided match at Brookvale Oval.

Matt Orford and Michael Robertson crossed three times each as the Sea Eagles ran rampant in the second half, racking up forty points after the break. Manly welcomed back several top line players, including Jamie Lyon and Brett Stewart.

The Roosters were unfortunate to trail 16-nil at half time, after enjoying a period of dominance. Their heavy defeat comes five days after the Bulldogs handed them a similar trouncing.

Manly has now won twelve games this year, with this margin easily their greatest, surpassing the round one 32-6 defeat of Canberra.
