Scott makes miracle putt to win Byron Nelson
Adam Scott has drained a monster putt on the third playoff hole to win the USPGA Byron Nelson Championship in Texas.
The Australian captured his seventh title on the tour, beating American Ryan Moore. Moore could have extended the playoff had he made a 15 footer after Scott’s miracle 50 foot putt.
Scott took a three stroke lead into the final round, however his advantage had disappeared after just five holes. He needed to make a birdie on the 18th just to force the playoff.
“I dug it out of nowhere and obviously found my range on the third playoff hole,” an excited Scott said.
“I got away with one today.”
