Same 17 for Maroons

There were no surprises in the Queensland team selected for Game two of the Origin series, with no changes from the original 17 picked for the opening match.

Second rower Carl Webb was a late withdrawl from the first game and returns to the starting line up. That relgates Roosters prop Nate Myles to the bench. Antonio Kaufusi was unavailable due to a season ending knee injury.

As with the opener, Darren Lockyer will need to overcome an injury to take his place. His back complaint stemming from the Broncos loss to the Dragons on Friday is not expected to keep him on the sidelines. “He’s copping a bit of a hiding of late, but he’s certainly got good recuperative powers” said selector Des Morris.
