Roos: Rebuild can wait

On the night that he suffered his earliest exit from a finals series as a head coach, Paul Roos refused to concede that his Sydney team is ready for a rebuild.

“It’s always hard to tell. Our season has just ended.

“I think they’ve been really good for five years.”

What must be concerning is the fact that Sydney were beaten by an aggressive Collingwood side that almost beat the Swans at Sydney’s game.

“I still think the majority of the older guys have got another one or two years to go,” Roos said.
