Porplyzia steers Crows home

Football wasn’t exactly the winner, but the Adelaide Crows wont care, having eased to a 15.17 (107) to 11.8 (74) win over the Kangaroos at AAMI Stadium.

These sides have had a less than glittering history of matches in Adelaide, with the first half of tonight’s match heading down a familiar path. The Crows were clearly the better side in the first two quarters but dreadful kicking meant their lead was limited to 20.

Adelaide finally cashed in on their dominance after the major break, with eight straight goals. Jason Porplyzia slammed all four of his goals in the third term.

The Kangaroos burst into life in the final quarter, kicking six goals of little consequence.
