Man United finally wins

A 30m strike from Nani has perhaps saved Manchester United’s season.

Man U beat Tottenham 1-nil at Old Trafford, with the wonder goal coming just moments after the visitors were denied a penalty for what appeared to be a clear United handball, when Dimitar Berbatov eased past goalkeeper Edwin Van der Sar and flicked a ball into Wes Brown’s bicep with the goal beckoning.

Minutes later Nani shot over Paul Robinson with a pinpoint swerving strike.

The win elevates Manchester United out of the bottom three and within five points of Chelsea.
