Lions wayward but still pummel Demons

The Brisbane Lions picked a good week to be wasteful in front of goal, as they routed the winless Demons 19.23 (137) to 13.7 (85) at the ‘Gabba.

Forward Daniel Bradshaw was again a shining light for Brisbane, booting six straight goals. His teammates were not so accurate, with Melbourne fortunate not to receive another triple digit thrashing. The match was a good as over at half time when the hosts led by 41. While Bradshaw was a standout in attack, Simon Black was superb in the midfield, clocking up 36 touches.
