Force blow winning lead

This was the one that got away for the Western Force.

The Canterbury Crusaders have recovered from a 12-point second half deficit to beat the Force 29-24 in a highly entertaining match at Subiaco Oval.

Playing at home for the first time this season and armed with a positive record from their South African trip (2-1), the Force played positively but found themselves down 12-5. Former league player Ryan Cross turned the tide with a try. The hosts weren’t done with and laid on two more tries in the first forty minutes.

The Force had a bonus point locked up by half time.

The Crusaders didn’t become multiple champions for nothing, and two tries in three minutes wrested the advantage back to the New Zealanders.
