England survive scare to win series

A stunning onslaught by New Zealand fast-bowler Tim Southee rocked England before the visitors bowled the Kiwis out for 431 in its second innings to win the final test in Napier by 121 runs and clinch the three-Test series 2-1.
Southee slammed 77 not out off 40 balls, including nine sixes. He shared a last wicket stand of 86 with Chris Martin, who contributed 5. Martin was bowled by Ryan Sidebottom to close the test, while left-arm finger-spinner Monty Panesar starred with 6 for 126.
