Ellis retires from netball

Liz Ellis has announced her retirement from netball, after captaining Australia to world championship glory in New Zealand.

 

Ellis, 34, refused to drawn into questions about her future immediately after Saturday’s thrilling final win 42-38 over the Silver Ferns, claiming she ‘wanted to play for ever and ever and ever’ in the euphoria of the win.

 

Ellis retires after 122 tests, including three world titles.
