The Bangalore rain has abandoned the first one day international between India and Australia after Michael Clarke had earlier ignited the match with a blistering century.

Arriving at the crease at 2 for 18, Clarke saved Australia with 130 off 132, his third century in ODI’s and highest score. The innings contained 10 fours and 3 sixes, including one to bring up his century.

Australia made a formidable 7/307 off their 50 overs, Brad Haddin scoring 69, one shy of his best for Australia.

India made a dreadful start to their chase, whrn Sachin Tendulkar was trapped infront by Mitchell Johnson for a duck. The home side were 1/9 when the rain fell.
