Celtics 101 Pacers 86: The streak continues

The Boston Celtics have extended their unbeaten run to six matches, as their perfect start to the season swallowed up Indiana 101-86 at Conseco Fieldhouse.

Paul Pierce dominated with 31 points, 11 boards and six assists, while Kevin Garnett drove home 18 and 11 boards of his own. Ray Allen contributed with 17 points.

The Celtics(6-0), who have now won five of their six matches by double figure margins, remain the only undefeated team in the league. Boston led 26-24 at the quarter, 52-43 at the half.

The Pacers (3-4) have lost their fourth game in a row, three of those at home. Danny Granger played a lone hand with 24 points.
