Blockbuster should not be at Telstra

I believe the Parramatta/Bulldogs blockbuster should not be staged at Telstra, nor should it be at Parramatta Stadium.

It should have been played at the Sydney Football Stadium.

The Bulldogs do not deserve any advantage after losing three straight games, including last weeks first final.

Some at Parramatta have argued that it should have been their home game. The fact is, you can’t be staging such important games at venues which struggle to hold 20,000.

Melbourne will suffer the same fate next week by playing at Telstra Dome, instead of the graveyard that is Olympic Park.

The NRL will obviously make a lot more money out of staging the game at Homebush, however integrity is important and the Dogs have been given a break they haven’t earned.
