Baddeley leads as Tiger lurks

Just like last week, Aaron Baddeley is the front runner, or at least co-leader, going into the final two rounds.
Baddeley fired a six under 65 to be at -9 midway through the BMW Championship in Chicago, equal with yesterdays leader Johnathan Byrd. Tiger Woods is in a tie with three others at -8.
Baddeley, sitting 11th in the FedEx rankings, took advantage of the wet greens at Cog Hill. Early showers had saturated the course and Baddeley had eight birdie putts within 10 feet. The Australian could have had the lead on his own, had he not bogeyed 18.
“You always like to go ahead and finish off the week with a win, but as I said, the more often you’re in that position, if you keep giving yourself opportunities, you’re going to win your fair share of events, just because you’re in that position all the time,” Baddeley said.
“Last week I felt like I played well, just couldn’t quite make enough putts on the weekend.”
“I’ve been hitting the ball better all year, and my misses are getting straighter.”
Stuart Appleby is three back after another 3 under 68. Nathan Green and Adam Scott are in a tie for 12th at -4.
Nick O’Hern and Robert Allenby are at +1, Rod Pampling is +3, John Senden +4.
Geoff Ogilvy remains last at +9.
