Ashley-Cooper to miss Wales

Adam Ashley Cooper

Adam Ashley-Cooper will more than likely miss the Wallabies crucial group B match against Wales on Saturday.

Ashley-Cooper sustained an injured big toe during Australia’s win over Japan, the second injury for the Wallabies from their opener, along the homeward bound Mark Gerrard.

The Wallabies winger rates himself a 50/50 chance of being fit, however the Wallabies will almost certainly let him rest, especially with Drew Mitchell making strong claims.

“It’s a massive game and out of all the games this is probably the one I wanted to play,” Ashley-Cooper said.

“But there are bigger fish to fry and if the toe isn’t 100 per cent I’m not going to risk that.”
